This piece is mostly all texture; made from twine and fine paper. The background is a neutral color but as always, gold is the main color. What’s unique about this one is that the gold has different shades due to the texture and size of the twine. It creates a kind of optical illusion when you stare at it long enough. I have always wanted to travel to an exotic desert landscape, with beautiful sand dunes. This painting is how I picture them in my head.
