Noche Pacaya

This piece is a nod to Guatemala’s most active volcano, Pacaya. Whether it’s erupting in daylight or nighttime, this is a sight to be seen! I took a very textural and somewhat minimal approach with my materials to showcase the powerful fire and force that comes with Pacaya’s power. ( Mixed media: twine, acrylic on watercolor paper)
